Award-winning freelance photographer Raminder Pal Singh is based out of Amritsar in the Indian state of Punjab.

Offering a unique shooting style and more than 20 years experience, Raminder is internationally recognised for reporting news developments in and around Punjab. His varied specialist genres include street photography, capturing high-profile celebrities and major sporting events such as the Asian Games and the Commonwealth Games.

Between 2008 and 2021, Raminder worked as photographer and photo manager on the India desk of the European Pressphoto Agency. In 2013, Raminder’s unique and adaptive style was recognised in the arts and culture category of the Media Foundation of India.

Raminder is also a speaker on photojournalism at various institutions, including Guru Nanak Dev University and affiliate colleges.

Raminder’s feature photography has been used on the covers of TIME and Forbes India magazines; and in various publications such as The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Telegraph, the Los Angeles Times and The Wall Street Journal, among others.

Raminder is based in Amritsar, India.
